The Roubion family has been in the shoring business since 1868, providing services of house leveling and foundation repair in the New Orleans Metropolitan area.
Since 1980, Dennis Roubion has been the sole owner and proprietor of Roubion Shoring Inc. Working on his first house leveling job with his uncle at age 12, Dennis Roubion has seen, diagnosed and repaired many foundation failures.
A graduate of Loyola University, Dennis Roubion has a Home Builders License, is a Board Member of the Better Business Bureau and has served on the Fountainbleau Flood Association and the Broadmore Improvement Association.
Teaching his two sons in the same light, Dennis Roubion Jr. and Justin O. Roubion are quickly following in their father’s footsteps.
History
In 1935 when Charity Hospital’s contagious disease building needed to be moved an entire city block, fully intact. Roubion’s family, Great Uncle Joseph Reynolds made it happen. Moving it along the streets on steel spools, Governor Huey Long’s plans were underway, only to sit for a year without electricity or plumbing, then quietly rolled back in the “dark of the night.”
